Is an Online MBA Well Accepted by Employers?

In today's business world, the needs for highly qualified people in terms of academic qualifications are increasing among the employers.

As a result, more and more people are looking for continuing education programs to equip themselves with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Currently, online MBA is one of the most popular higher learning programs. However, one important question arises here.

Are online MBA programs truly well accepted by majority employers in the employment market? Are all the certifications internationally recognized? In the point of view of many employers, online MBA is not as efficient as the traditional MBA degree as there is no face to face classroom interaction between students and lecturers.
The employers have less confidence on the e-learning system which provides too much of flexibility and freedom in obtaining knowledge.

They also have doubts on the course content, syllabus as well as the learning outcomes.

They would rather prefer corporate training programs which focus on skill enhancement.

A recent study by the Association of Masters of Business Administration has indicated that the online MBA certifications are only taken seriously by the employers if they are from highly rated business schools.

As a result, it is really important for you to find out whether the certification obtained from the online business school is well accepted by the employers. Checking the ratings of the certifications in the employment market is a MUST.
If the certification is not recognized, it is totally no value for you when you present it during interview or for job promotion purpose in your current company. Until today, there are still many employers who don't really know how online MBA works.
This causes them to have low trust on online study.
The success of online learning needs some time to get it proven.
